I love stories, both real and make-believe. They let us live vicariously through experiences we otherwise might never encounter in the brief existence we call life. Not to mention the awesomeness that comes from chancing upon a thought, feeling, or way of looking at the world I thought was all my own written about by a complete stranger in a random book that just happened to catch my attention. Of course I have my preferences, but all stories deserve to be heard once.
This is a blog about BOOKS, not reading. I read as sparingly as possible due to dyslexia and the fact that I just don't like reading. So I audiobook. Great during long commutes, monotonous chores, and yoga-like exercises. I try to read only books I already know I enjoy for a more thorough experience and not waste unnecessary eye concentration on stories I wish not to experience in detail.
